"TALENTADONG ETNIKO 2014"
Talentadong Etniko was conceptualized by the Philex and Outlying Youth Movers Society (POYMS), the first community-based youth organization in Philex and its host and neighbouring commnunities, for the purposes of education and competition. Education in the sense that people who does not know or have not seen how the traditional practices of the Host and neighbouring communities is being done shall be shown to them how it is being done. Competition because the five (5) barangays that is being supported by the Philex Mining Corporation gathered at Philex Mines to have a cultural show down, to show who could best portray their practices in a theatrical manner that will be judged. The judges are VP-RM Eng. Libby R. Ricafort, ComRel Officer- Mr. Feliciano N. Diso, Jr., Former Itogon Mayor Mr. Oscar Camantiles and Mines and GeoSciences Bureau Representative Ms. Remy Ortega. The said activity was participated by the host and neighboring barangays of Philex which is Brgy. Camp 3, Brgy. Ampucao, Brgy. Camp 1, Bargy. Ansagan and Brgy. Dalupirip. The activity has been funded by Philex Mining Corporation under its Social Development and Management Program and is being implemented by the Philex and Outlying Youth Movers Society with the supervision of the ComRel Department which is being led by Mr. Feliciano N. Diso, Jr.
